The workplace harassment and violence provisions under the Canada Labour Code came into effect on January 1, 2021. Since then, there have been many complaints filed that have helped to clarify the Code. Jennifer Duff, legal partner at Shields, Hunt, Duff, Strachan will provide an overview of the legislation and what we need to be aware of since its inception.
